Highlight of the weekend was an unbeaten 150 partnership between Sam Jakobsen and Ben Gilmour as Cleator maintained their position at the top of the table.

They scored a ten wicket victory at Egremont, for whom James Murphy top scored with 30.

Workington secured a comfortable eight wicket victory against Gosforth having bowled the visitors out for 64, with Jack Burgess and Matthew Lowden taking three wickets apiece.

There was a nail-biting finish at Southfield in which Whitehaven won by three wickets with just a few balls to spare against British Steel.

Jamie Henderson, dropped when just into double figures, made the home side pay with a valueable 55 after Steels had set a useful total of 168, Damien Hazzard top scoring with 39.
