A combination of waterlogged grounds and delayed ties meant the week set aside for the Sandwith Roofing Cup & Crisp and Rowell Shield saw almost no cricket played.

The unplayable BCMS v Broughton tie was decided by a coin toss, BCMS now face Isel in the SRC whilst Broughton visit Allonby in the CRS.

Royal George booked themselves a berth in the Sandwith Roofing Cup final after a last ball thriller against Distington. The final is at the Valentine Ground on July 9th.

Royal George made 93-6 as Neil Carruthers, Ian Studholme and Barrie Warbrick all made 20 retired.

Distington made 90-5 but failed to hit the last ball for four so missed out on the win. Charlie Gallagher and Adam Chambers each made 20 retired.

The other half of the draw is still at the quarter final stage: WCLS or Sandwith Roofing  & BCMS or Isel.

The Crisp and Rowell Shield semi finals are: Cockermouth Academicals v Workington Juniors, Allonby v Broughton.
