Pirelli Stadium(Burton).jpgA crowd of 4,123 saw Barrow complete another double over AFC Telford to reach the Blue Square North play-off final.

The Holker Street side, who had already completed a League double over Telford, followed-up Wednesday’s 2-0 home win with victory by the same score at Telford’s Buck’s Head Stadium.

They have won all four meetings between the two sides this season – scored 10 goals and not conceded any.

Luke Reynolds put through his own goal on 33 minutes and as Telford sensed the inevitable Paul Tait grabbed the second on 78 minutes.

The victory continued Barrow’s remarkable run of form which has seen them surge up the table from the relegation zone to the play-offs since Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan took over.

In the final at Burton Albion on Friday night they will be up against Stalybridge Celtic, who finished third in the final Blue Square table.

Celtic had to go to penalties to beat Southport after Paul Sykes put through his own goal three minutes from time to leave Stalybridge 2-1 winners on the day – but level on aggregate.

With away goals not counting double the match went to extra-time and penalties where the spot kicks went Stalybridge’s way 5-3.

Ashley Winn (31) and Steve Payne (70) appeared to have given Stalybridge automatic passage to the final until Sykes’ own goal caused a late problem.

The Game will take Place on Friday 9th May 7-30pm k/o at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium.
