Steve JagielkaMidifeld duo Jamie Vermiglio and Steve Jagielka (pictured left) are poised to leave AFC Telfod.

Vermiglio (below right) has seen his first-team involvement limited due to a series of injury problems and has recently spent time with NPL Division One North outfit Chorley in a bid to regain his match sharpness.

However he is not expected to feature for the Bucks again and could well link up with Northwich Victoria.

Chairman Lee Carter told the club's official website: "Jamie went to Chorley for 4 or 5 games to get match fitness so the decision to move to Northwich was a bit of a surprise."vermiglio226.

Meanwhile, fellow midfield man Jagielka (elder brother of Everton’s Phil) has also found his first-team opportunities limited and has decided to link up with Southern League Premier Division side Hednesford Town.

Carter added: "Steve is a fantastic character and we fully understand why he has departed. It has been a real joy to have him at the club.

"He wants and needs regular football and he just couldn't get that here.”

Meanwhile Corby Town striker Mark Stallard has outlined his plans to retire from football at the end of the month in order to focus on a new career.

Stallard dropped down to the Blue Square North from Mansfield Town in order to combine his job as a financial advisor with that of his football.

However, the 34-year-old has decided to call it quits and focus on his work instead.

Stallard (pictured below) told the Evening Telegraph: "The business has just had far more work than we expected and it's taking up all of my time.

"I joined Corby at the start of the season with the intention of combining the financial work with part-time football.

"But such has been the rapid growth of my new career, I cannot commit to the club and play to a standard I would like."
Stallard has featured eight times for Town, scoring two goals.

"Therefore, it makes sense for me to call it a day at the end of the month and the club get someone in who can give them the commitment they need."

Boss Graham Drury commended the striker on the way he has handled himself throughout his time at Corby.

Drury said: "I wish I could work with more people as honest and professional as Mark Stallard.

"He could have just sat there and taken the money each week but he's not that kind of person.

"He's not left us in the lurch either. He's waiting until the end of the month to give us time to get someone in to replace him. He's been a great lad and I wish him well."

Stafford Rangers have enquired about bringing Jermaine Johnson back to the club after his loan deal expired.

The 19-year-old Derby centre-half impressed in the four matches he played for Rangers during his month's deal.

Assistant manager Darren Read told the Express and Star: "Jermaine is one player who we would like to look at renewing his loan. We would love to keep him but it's down to Derby and Gary Crosby, their assistant manager. He has a good relationship with our manager, and they are in constant talks.

"Derby rate him highly but whether they see him as being able to break into their first team, I am not too sure. But we were more than happy with what he did here, and it would be great if we can have him back with us."

Johnson was sent off in the FA Cup replay defeat to Coventry Sphinx and will reportedly serve the suspension at Derby.
