Miners Arms players suspended until club pays money PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 28 May 2008

Miners Arms, Broughton Moor failed to complete their fixtures in the Workington and District Sunday League.

Their final game against Moorclose wasn’t played so all their results throughout the season have been expunged.

League secretary Ken Bragg said: “Fortunately this had no effect on most matters concerning Division One. Miners have been dealt with accordingly and will no longer be a member of the Workington and District Sunday League.

“It also means that all their players are now suspended from all football awaiting money owed to the League to be paid.”
