Just a few games remain in the Tesco Cumberland County League season and most of the honours have been decided.
Netherhall are Premier Division champions and they also lifted the Crest Team Wear Conway Cup and the Peter Dawson Benevolent Cup.
They also reached the Ken Glover Memorial Shield final on Saturday after they beat Cockermouth on penalties after the game ended all square at 1 – 1.
They will meet Wigton at Whitehaven Miners ground on Saturday, May 31.
Both sides had arranged end of season parties away and that has angered League officials as the season does not end to the 31st.
Spokesman Herbert Briggs said: “If these clubs had just talked to us maybe we could have looked at things sooner and the management committee could have had time off too. But as it is we will no sooner get over the 31st and it will be the AGM then it's August and the start of the new season.”
Aspatria lifted the C FM Whitehaven Cup and look set to finish runners -up in the Premier League.
A good game of football against Frizington White Star was edged 2-1 by the Premier League side. Both sides had chances but it was Aspatria who took theirs to run out 2 - 1 winners.
Cleator Moor Celtic lifted the Divisional Cup and will be promoted to the Premier Division alongside Whitehaven Miners and Frizington White Star but any one of those three sides could be crowned Champions. D day for Division One is Tuesday.
Frizington White Star have had the best season of any side in the league as they have been involved in three of the five finals. although they lost all three they made a lot of friends as they were never out played and in two of the finals they clashed with the top two in the premier league.
Many a side would have swapped places with them, but despite the runners up medals it's been a season to remember for the players,
On Wednesday, May 7 Wigton won 3-1 at Hearts to keep them struggling near the foot of the table while in Division One there was an important win for Cleator Moor Celtic (3-0 at home to St. Bees).
Also in Division One Whitehaven Miners won 2-1 at the bottom side Parton Utd.
In the CFM Whitehaven Cup final Richard Hudson and Craig Wilson scored the goals for Aspatria which earned them the trophy 2-1 against Frizington. Barry Armfield scored with a penalty for White Star.
In the Premier Division Whitehaven AFC crashed 4-0 at Hearts of Liddesdale while Wigton Harriers beat Silloth 4-1.
Stephen Scott scored for Mirehouse when they went down 4-1 at Longtown.
In Division One Bransty Rangers beat Carlisle Spartans 3-0 with goals from Gavin Bainbridge, Kevin Lopas and Mark Callum.
