Hinckley United, the team that traditionally don't lose to Workington Reds, will provide the first opposition of the new Blue Square North season for the west Cumbrians on August 8.

Reds have landed a home game to get the campaign underway with Hinckley the visitorts to Borough Patk on opening day.

Without any re-arrangements Reds will also finish-off the season at Borough Park on April 24 against Stafford Rangers.

The Christmas/New Year pairings this year look good ones - home and away against north east rivals Blyth Spartans, with the Brough Park fixture on Boxing Day.

Reds went to Fleetwood last Boxing Day and this time will visit Highbury on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31 to meet a side who have spent heavily during the summer.

The first away game of the season is a long one for a Tuesday night - a trip to Gainsborough on Tuesday, August 11.

The longest trip of the season, of course, is going to be to Gloucester City and that comes fairly early on Saturday, September 12.

Corby Town, also new to the League, represemnt another long hike and that will be on Saturday, November 14.
