Sam Smith capped a fine personal season by being voted Players’ Player of the Year for the Reserves while Dan Gullen took the Player of the Year award.

Simon Bragg was voted Youth team Players’ Player of the Year while Adam Main picked up the Player of the Year accolade.

The players then made a presentation to the managerial duo of Steve Lee (pictured) and Graeme Main in appreciation of their efforts over the past couple of seasons.

Steve has stepped down as Reserve team boss and will be succeeded by Dave Rodgie who has previously been involved with Mirehouse, Penrith United, Shap United and the Cumberland FA.

Closer ties are expected between the reserves and the Lakes College as first team boss Darren Edmondson looks to create a squad of local-based players capable eventually of making the Blue Square North Bet line-up.
