Silloth-like conditions help pro at Maften Hall PDF Print E-mail

Jonathan Graham of Silloth has won the prestigious Rock tournament at Maften Hall.

Afterwards Graham admitted that being brought up on the wind-swept links at Silloth-on-Solway helped him cope with the tricky conditions.

Graham, 33, was a junior and club champion at Silloth before taking on the job of professional at the Cumbria club.

As a junior member he was British Youth Champion in 1994 and was appointed Head Professional in 1999.
