A Cumbrian MP will be exchanging the comforts of the Houses of Parliament for the streets of his constituency this week-end.
Tim Farron, who represents Westmorland and Lonsdale will spend Saturday night on the streets of Kendal with volunteers from Manna House.
The charity was set up in 2002 to provide housing advice, advocacy and support for those in the Kendal and South Lakes area who are homeless or vulnerably housed.
Mr Farron, who joined the Lib Dem’s Shadow Home Affairs team in December, wants to see for himself the problems experienced by the homeless in his consiutituency.
