The Two Feds Amalgamation is holding a Pigeon Moot at the Harrington Boating Club on Friday, March 12.

An amalgamation, involving the Derwent Valley and West Cumbria Federations, is ready to embark on only its second season next month.

The Amalgamation was kick-started last year with a very successful Moot in which the main guests were south Cumbrian fanciers.

This time organisers have gone north of the border for their speakers who will be Karl Guenther (pictured from Dumfries), Michael Curry (Moffat) and Chris Little (Annan).

Chairman Joe Tomlinson of the Keekle club will put prepared questions to the trio of top fanciers.

There’s also going to be an auction in aid of club funds in which a draft of ten young birds from the lofts of both Derwent Valley and West Cumbria Federation winners last year, will be sold on the night.

Admission is £5 and will also include a buffet.
