The annual meeting of the Two Feds Amalgamation has been fixed for Friday, January 29 in the Harrington Boating Club.

Three notices of motion will be considered as the committee tries to tidy-up a few teething problems which arose in the Amalgamation’s first season last year.

The first one effects rule three and the proposal is it should read membership is open to members of Derwent Valley and West Cumbria Federations.

At present rule three reads: Membership -all individual members {lofts} of the Derwent Valley and West Cumbria Feds.

The committee proposes altering rule nine to fees being £200 per Federation per year. That currently stands at £100 per year.

The third proposal is that rule 18 should be removed in its entirety. The rule last season was that fees were to be £2 per loft per year.

The annual meeting, set to start at 7pm, will be followed by the presentation to the 2009 amalgamation winners with a social evening and buffet at 8 pm.
