There has been another twist to the controversial result from Wollaston affecting the Derwent Valley Federation.
As a result an emergency meeting of delegates has been arranged for Wednesday, November 25 at the Union Jack Club in Workington.
The young bird race had been awarded to Tinnion brothers and Aitken of the Flimby HS but a subsequent appeal by club colleague Mark Hodgson, which was heard recently by the Cumbria Region, was successful.
Tinnion brothers and Aitken have now sent a letter to the secretary of the Derwent Valley Federation to say they wish to object to the amended result released for the young bird race from Wollaston on the grounds that "the clock paper belonging to E Hodgson and son was in breach of rule 226 from the R.P.R.A. rules."
Mark Hodsgon went on to win the subsequent young bird race from Cheltenham and he also lifted the coveted Big Cup at the end of the season.
Alongside is Lawrence Tinnion of the partnership objecting against the latest resu8lt.
