Whitehaven Rugby League Club is looking to fill three key off-field roles at the club.
A commercial manager tops the list of requirements, someone who will be responsible for a variety of commercial activities dependent on skills and experience.
Whitehaven general manager Nigel Beaty (pictured) says: “Experience in selling (sponsorship, match day hospitality and advertising) marketing and website management is desirable.
“The successful applicant will need to maximise the club’s revenue. including bar operation, ticket sales and facility hire, and liaise with sponsors and partners.”
Whitehaven also need a part time community development manager who will be responsible for the management of the club’s Rugby League Community programme in Copeland, involving all age groups in local schools, the community and club settings.
Experience in education, sports development, grant applications, leadership, reporting, marketing, event organisation and promotion are said to be desirable.
The third vacancy is for a community rugby league coach to plan and deliver rugby league coaching sessions in schools, clubs, and colleges and assist with match day community activities.
Beaty said: “This successful applicant will have a Rugby League coaching qualification and driving license with experience in coaching children and young people. “
The closing date for all three vacancies is Friday, November 20th.
Whitehaven are also still looking for a part time fitness conditioner and a reserve team physio.
