Only seven teams are left to contest the first round of the Cumbria Plate competition - which is effectively the quarter final.
Keswick, having been previously awarded a bye following the withdrawal of Windermere, have now also withdrawn.
Last season Keswick reached the final but their clash with St. Benedict’s didn’t take place and when it wasn’t played ahead of the current campaign the competition was cancelled.
Only two preliminary round games have taken place – Millom winning 20-12 at neighbours Furness while another derby game saw Whitehaven edge through 21-17 at Egremont.
Ambleside, Moresby, Netherhall, Gosforth Greengarth and Cockermouth join them, are all through on byes.
The draw for the first round will take place in the new year and there will be three matches with one team being awarded a bye to th semi-final.
