cueto_family_at_netherhall.jpgMARK Cueto has never forgotten his west Cumbrian roots – particularly the Netherhall club where he played his first game of rugby.

There’s still a strong family connection in the town and on a recent visit members of the Cueto family posed for a picture for the Netherhall album.

Pictured left to right are dad Frank, nephew Nicholas Holden, grandfather Philip and Mark himself.

Netherhall official Jim Edmondson said: “Mark is a great supporter of the club and has promised a further England shirt, one of several he has donated to date.”

Latest assignment for Cueto will be a match for a strong England team to face the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday.

The Workington-born winger is among eight players from England’s final match of the Six Nations who will take on the invitational side.

The match is England’s last before its end-of-season tour of Australia and New Zealand when Cueto will be a key member.

England face the Australian Barbarians four days before its June 12 first Test against the Wallabies in Perth.

Another midweek meeting with the Australian Barbarians follows before the June 19 second Test in Sydney.

The tour concludes June 23 against New Zealand Maori in Napier.
